Overview
Cordoba Coffee set out on a mission as bold as its brews: to create a brand that celebrated the rich flavors of its coffee while paying homage to the timeless beauty of the city of Córdoba. This wasn’t just a brand; it was an invitation to step into the vibrant streets of a city where history, culture, and artistry converge.
Challenges
The challenge was clear—Cordoba Coffee needed to stand out in a crowded market while staying authentic to the architectural marvels and cultural heritage of Córdoba. The design had to echo history, yet feel alive and relevant, weaving a tapestry of flavors and visuals that spoke to coffee lovers and history enthusiasts alike.

The Creative Approach:
Inspired by Córdoba’s Soul
Imagine arriving in Córdoba at sunrise is like stepping into a timeless world. The Roman Bridge glows in the soft golden light, its arches spanning the Guadalquivir River as a testament to centuries of resilience.
Walking through the Calleja de las Flores, vibrant blooms cascade from whitewashed walls, their colors and scents breathing life into the narrow streets. In the distance, the Calahorra Tower rises, stands strong on the horizon, guarding the legacy of Córdoba’s rich past.
Finally, you reach the Great Mosque, the Mezquita. Stepping inside feels almost otherworldly. The cool air greets you, and the iconic red-and-white arches seem to stretch endlessly, creating a mesmerizing pattern. Sunlight filters softly through the windows, casting warm, shifting beams onto the marble floors, Every detail reflects the artistic and architectural brilliance of Islamic culture, a space where history and beauty blend seamlessly.
This was the starting point for our creative designers, looking at Córdoba as a place where layers of history and culture coexist harmoniously.
Logo Design: A Fusion of Art and legacy
The logo was a tribute to the iconic arches of the Great Mosque. Each curve and line echoed the city’s layered history while symbolizing openness and connection. It wasn’t just a mark; it was an emblem of Córdoba’s spirit, with a subtle 3D effect that gave it depth, much like the city’s rich heritage.
Color Palette and Visuals:A Symphony of Richness
Colors played a pivotal role in bringing this story to life. The terracotta tones mirrored the sunlit tiles of the Roman Bridge, while radiant orange captured the warmth of the sunset reflected on the arches of the Great Mosque. Golden accents were added to evoke the grandeur of Islamic artistry, creating a palette as rich and inviting as the coffee itself.
Patterns Design
Patterns emerged from Córdoba’s landmarks. The flowing lines of the Roman Bridge inspired continuity, while the elegance of the Calahorra Tower added structure. The vibrant beauty of the Calleja de las Flores and the symmetry of the Mezquita brought balance and vibrancy. These patterns weren’t just decorative; they were the visual language of Córdoba, translated into every element of the brand.
Packaging Design:
The Jewel of Cordoba’s Brand
The packaging became the hero of Cordoba Coffee’s story. Each flavor represented a journey through the city’s soul. The Gold flavor gleamed in golden hues, evoking the opulence of Córdoba’s heritage and the luxurious glow of its architecture. The Classic flavor embraced orange, a vibrant nod to the energy of Córdoba’s sunsets and the warmth of its streets. Meanwhile, the Fine Mousse flavor, wrapped in earthy terracotta, reflected the smooth richness of the Roman Bridge and the tactile charm of sunlit tiles.
